Wilson Healthcare and Rehabilitation is seeking a Certified Medication Aide to join our team. As a Certified Medication Aide, you will be responsible for administering medications to residents in accordance with state and federal regulations.
Responsibilities:- Administer medications as ordered by a physician under the supervision of a licensed nurse.
- Record all medication given to residents based on their specific chart.
- Notify licensed staff when a resident complains of pain.
- Take and record vital signs of residents as assigned or as required by certain medications.
- Record the administration of medications and/or treatments appropriately.
- Answer resident call lights and anticipate resident needs.
- Observe for and report any reactions and/or side effects of medications to a licensed nurse.
- Perform all aspects of resident care in an environment that optimizes resident safety and reduces the likelihood of medical/health care errors.
- Support and maintain a culture of safety and quality.
- CMA Certification
