Job Summary

We are seeking a Child Development Coach to join our team at Centria Healthcare. As a Child Development Coach, you will work closely with children with autism, helping them develop essential life skills and reduce challenging behaviors.

You will implement individualized behavior intervention plans under the guidance of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) and utilize evidence-based techniques to teach communication, social, and daily living skills. Our clients require patience, compassion, and understanding, making this a rewarding yet challenging role.

This position offers a competitive salary range of $16 - $20 per hour, depending on qualifications and experience. If you're passionate about helping children with autism reach their full potential, we encourage you to apply.

Responsibilities

  1. Work one-on-one with children, implementing individualized behavior intervention plans
  2. Use evidence-based techniques to teach communication, social, and daily living skills
  3. Maintain accurate records of progress and report to the BCBA
  4. Collaborate with the BCBA to adjust intervention plans as needed
  5. Ensure client safety and well-being at all times

Requirements

  • Passionate about helping children with autism
  • Patient, compassionate, and able to work well in a team
  • 18+ years of age
  • High school diploma or GED
  • Ability to obtain a CPR, First Aid Certification and Tuberculosis test (if you haven't had one in the last year)
  • Ability to pass a pre-employment background check
  • Ability to move in various positions (sit, squat, bend, etc.)
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds
