Civil Litigation Attorney Opportunity

We are seeking a seasoned civil litigation attorney to join our team at GPAC. As a key member of our litigation team, you will be responsible for providing expert case support, interacting with clients and counsel, and analyzing and drafting discovery requests and responses.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide independent case support and analysis.
  • Effectively interact with clients, counsel, and supervising attorneys to ensure seamless communication.
  • Analyze and draft discovery requests and responses to drive case outcomes.
  • Conduct thorough legal research and prepare memoranda to inform case strategies.
  • Draft complaints, motions, and other legal documents to support case objectives.
  • Assess, draft, and argue dispositive motions to achieve favorable case results.
  • Prepare for and defend depositions of witnesses to gather critical evidence.
  • Participate in court hearings and mediations to resolve disputes.
  • Deliver exceptional service to all clients, adhering to billing and reporting requirements.

Requirements:

  • Licensed in good standing with the California State Bar.
  • Three or more years of civil litigation experience, with general liability experience preferred.
  • Ability to work independently while managing a heavy caseload.
  • Strong research and writing skills, with effective oral advocacy skills and familiarity with rules of evidence.
  • Ability to multitask while demonstrating attention to detail, with strong communication and time management skills.
