Production Welder

Job Summary
Birdon America, Inc. is seeking an experienced Assembly Technician to join our team. As a key member of our production team, the successful candidate will be responsible for assembling and fabricating metal structures using various techniques.

Key Responsibilities
As an Assembly Technician, you will be responsible for the following tasks:

• Fabrication, welding, and repair of metal structures (both steel and aluminum)
• Understand and interpret drawings and specifications
• Diagnose issues and perform maintenance and repairs as directed
• Ensure work is conducted according to quality system process and Inspection Test Plans
• Maintain a clean, tidy, and productive work environment

Working Conditions
Working conditions are normal for a manufacturing environment where exposure to moving mechanical parts, sharp cutting tools, dust, fumes, and airborne particles, temperature extremes, and elevated noise levels. Employees must regularly lift and move up to 25 pounds and frequently lift and move more than 75 pounds. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, stoop, kneel, climb, crouch, talk, and hear. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
