About the Role

We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Music Therapist to join our team at Northern Arizona Hospice, a part of LHC Group. As a Music Therapist, you will play a vital role in providing professional, approved therapeutic modalities to patients in our inpatient setting.

Responsibilities
  • Deliver high-quality music therapy services to patients and their families, promoting comfort, relaxation, and emotional well-being.
  • Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans that address the unique needs of each patient.
  • Provide education and support to patients and their families on music therapy techniques and benefits.
  • Document services provided and maintain accurate records, as trained and instructed by the hospice agency.
Requirements
  • Master's degree in Music Therapy or related field.
  • Experience working with patients and families in a hospice or end-of-life care setting.
  • Knowledge of hospice and end-of-life care principles and practices.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
