Soliant is seeking a dedicated and qualified School Psychologist to join our team in Lynchburg, VA. This part-time position involves working with students to help them achieve their academic, behavioral, and emotional goals.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments and evaluations to identify student needs
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) to support student success
- Provide counseling and support to students, families, and staff to promote a positive learning environment
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and other professionals to ensure effective student support
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to discuss student progress and develop strategies for improvement
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of student assessments and interventions
- Masters or Doctoral degree in School Psychology
- State certification or licensure as a School Psychologist
- Previous experience in a school setting preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively with diverse populations
