Job Summary
Preferred Home Health Care & Nursing Services is seeking a skilled Nurse Educator to join our team. As a Nurse Educator, you will play a critical role in supervising students in the application of theoretical knowledge in a hands-on clinical setting.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Develop and implement training programs for students, focusing on standard best practices and laws surrounding specialized nursing skills.
- Provide instruction and supervision to students, ensuring they meet program objectives and performance standards.
- Prepare, administer, and grade applicable tests to assess student knowledge and understanding.
- Document student progress and complete required forms or reports in a timely and accurate manner.
- Develop and submit course materials, including program objectives, student performance objectives, and lesson plans.
- Conduct training sessions in accordance with all regulations and company policies.
- Perform other duties as assigned by management.
Requirements
- Associate's or Bachelor's Degree in nursing.
- New Jersey Registered Nurse License.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, both verbal and written.
- Minimum two years' experience as a Registered Nurse (RN), with at least one year of experience in home care.
