Job Summary:
Lake Haven Nursing and Rehab Center is seeking a skilled Speech Language Pathologist to join our team on a PRN basis. As a Speech Language Pathologist, you will play a vital role in assessing the needs of our residents with speech or language disorders and providing them with the necessary services to improve their communication skills.
Responsibilities:
- Assess the needs of residents with speech or language disorders and develop individualized treatment plans to address their needs.
- Conduct regular evaluations and assessments to measure progress and adjust treatment plans as needed.
- Communicate effectively with residents, family members, and healthcare team members to ensure seamless care coordination.
- Stay current with professional literature and attend seminars to maintain and update professional skills.
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to develop and implement effective treatment plans.
Requirements:
- Master's degree in Speech Language Pathology from an accredited program.
- Current state license to practice as a Speech Language Pathologist.
- Eligibility to take the Praxis exam or proof of passing the Praxis exam.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
