We are seeking a Senior Electrical NPI Engineer to join our New Product Integration team. This role will focus on the development and delivery of innovative, large-scale, modular, and mass-produced electrolysis plants. You will engage in the entire lifecycle of Electric Hydrogen's electrolysis plant development, which includes: design for manufacturability (DFM) support, supplier development, traditional New Product Introduction tasks, and deployment of pioneering plants.

Reporting to the New Product Integrations manager, you will work on various projects aimed at constructing and integrating groundbreaking chemical process facilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with the engineering team, component suppliers, and system integrators.
  • Develop clear and concise work instructions to guide the construction process.
  • Identify potential schedule, cost, and technical risks proactively, and propose solutions.
  • Provide comprehensive DFM feedback to the engineering team.
  • Understand manufacturing limitations and work closely with suppliers to enhance their processes.
  • Oversee and coordinate factory acceptance testing of equipment.
  • Ensure that systems are constructed to meet our quality standards.
  • Work in tandem with the sustaining deployment team to transition commissioning, installation, and deployment processes after initial builds.
  • Develop the installation plan for the plant, including work instructions and documentation for the first installation.
  • Collaborate with relevant teams to create and implement the Plant Commissioning Procedure for the inaugural product plant.
  • This position involves approximately 25% travel, depending on the current phase of product development.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering.
  • Minimum of 6 years of industry experience.
  • Proven experience in transitioning a technical project from design to production.
  • 6+ years of experience with medium voltage power systems.
  • Experience in commissioning transformers, rectifiers, variable frequency drives (VFDs), motor control centers (MCCs), or similar electrical equipment.
  • Proficient in developing installation, commissioning, or deployment procedures.
  • Ability to translate learnings into product enhancements.
  • Experience collaborating with external vendors, contractors, and officials.
  • Demonstrated experience in coordinating interdisciplinary teams and effective technical communication.
Compensation and Benefits

Salary range: $185,000 - $213,000 USD.

The actual base salary offered will be determined based on work location, qualifications, job-related skills, and relevant education or training.

In addition to the base salary, the successful candidate may receive:
