Occupational Therapist

Sunbelt Staffing is seeking a skilled Occupational Therapist to provide contract services to schools in the Niles, IL area. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 1+ years of occupational therapy experience and a valid Illinois Occupational Therapy license.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate students' motor skills, sensory processing, and functional abilities
- Collaborate with school staff and IEP teams to develop individualized treatment plans and goals for students
- Provide direct occupational therapy services to students, addressing areas such as fine motor skills, sensory integration, and self-care
- Adapt classroom environments and materials to promote accessibility and student participation
- Document student progress and treatment plans according to agency and school guidelines
- Master's degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited institution
- Previous experience as a School Occupational Therapist is preferred, but new graduates with relevant fieldwork experience are encouraged to apply
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with students, parents, teachers, and IEP team members
