Job Summary

The Dining Service Associate performs a variety of duties related to food preparation, hospitality, and meal service. This includes assisting in food preparation, serving food, waiting tables, and bussing tables. You will also perform defined work routines, follow all sanitation guidelines, and maintain a clean and safe kitchen environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in food preparation and cooking duties
  • Serve food and drinks to residents in a timely and courteous manner

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you must have a high school diploma and a current Food Handler's Permit. Training in Servsafe is beneficial, but not required. One year of food service experience is preferred, including serving, cleaning, and kitchen sanitation protocols. You must be able to communicate effectively with residents and staff, and possess good organizational and time management skills.

Physical Requirements
  • Lift or carry equipment or supplies weighing up to 50 pounds
  • Stand, sit, twist, bend, squat, kneel, or crouch when performing job duties
  • Have adequate sight and hearing to meet the responsibilities of this position
