Job Summary

We're seeking a skilled Technical Specialist to join our team in an automotive manufacturing environment. As a Technical Specialist, you'll be responsible for analyzing and improving current production processes, coordinating new model and tooling launches, and serving as a technical expert for assigned areas.

Key Responsibilities
  • Analyze and continuously improve performance of assigned area (safety, quality, production, cost, and human factors)
  • Coordinate and lead project activities, including design, supplier selection, and implementation phases
  • Serve as technical expert for Team Members, Team Leaders, and Group Leaders, including technical training
  • Support daily production issues
  • Continually review technical developments in area of responsibility and propose new technology projects as appropriate
  • Report current projects, progress, and issues to senior management
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience desired
  • 0-10 years job-related experience preferred
  • 3-10 years automotive assembly experience desired
  • Hemming experience desired
  • Jigs and Fixture experience desired
  • Robotic Welding experience desired
  • Automotive or Sheet Metal work experience desired
