Job Title: Project Geologist

This position will design and implement technical services to ensure client and project management needs are met.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform field and office tasks, including project management support for traditional assessment and remediation projects.
  • Design and implement field programs, manage projects, and coordinate field activities, including scheduling, budgeting, and subcontractor management.
  • Plan, coordinate, and manage Site/Remedial Investigation field activities and perform follow-up intermediate hydrogeologic and data interpretation.
  • Develop and finalize reports for Project Manager's review, documenting findings and project remediation recommendations.
  • Ensure individual task schedules, budgets, and client invoicing are monitored and reviewed in compliance with Company standards and client requirements.
  • Participate in the development of junior staff and work with senior management to continue to grow as a consultant and leader of the firm.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant technical field.
  • Minimum of 4 years in the environmental consulting industry with demonstrated progression in technical site investigation/remediation and task management.
  • Proficient in designing field programs, managing projects, and coordinating field activities.
  • Experience with common technical protocols and regulatory requirements.
  • Ability and willingness to support the technical growth of staff-level professionals.
Work Environment:

This position works in the field and office environment. Field activities require the ability to drive to different project sites, physically move around outdoors in various terrains, and work in adverse weather conditions. Office work is primarily stationary/sedentary using a computer and keyboard/mouse.

Compensation:

This position is eligible for a base salary range of $65,000 - $82,000, with quarterly performance bonuses based on individual job performance and the profitability of the firm.
