Composite Materials Technician

Summit Interconnect, Inc. is seeking a skilled Composite Materials Technician for our manufacturing operations. This role is crucial in the production of high-quality printed circuit boards, particularly focusing on intricate rigid and rigid-flex designs tailored for RF/Microwave applications.
Position Overview: The ideal candidate will possess a solid understanding of the Summit Traveler system and stack-up documentation. Responsibilities include verifying material availability, ensuring core layer compatibility, and analyzing previous production runs for any modifications. The technician will also be responsible for maintaining cleanliness in the lay-up area, preparing layers for lamination, and ensuring proper identification of all panels according to work orders.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and press rigid panels with precision.
- Maintain quality standards for all produced panels.
- Assist with various departmental tasks as directed by the supervisor.
Qualifications:
- A minimum of one (1) year of experience in the printed circuit board sector.
- High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
- Strong communication skills to interact effectively with management.
- Ability to maintain focus and concentration in a dynamic environment.
Physical Requirements:
- This position requires standing for the duration of the shift.
- Must be capable of lifting up to 30 lbs.
Compensation and Benefits: Summit Interconnect offers a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, vision, HSA plans, life insurance, paid time off, and holidays. Benefits commence on the first day of the month following the hire date.
The pay range for this position is $20.00 per hour, commensurate with experience.
