Transportation Officer

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Transportation Officer to join our team at TransCor America. As a key member of our transportation team, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and secure movement of inmates, detainees, and residents. • Ensure the safe and orderly operation of assigned trips, promoting public safety, staff safety, and a secure and humane environment for inmates, detainees, and residents.
• Communicate and support the vision of TransCor America, ensuring alignment with company goals.
• Monitor and supervise inmate, detainee, and resident activity, resolving disputes and problems, protecting rights, and completing required documentation.
• Follow sound safety practices, reporting injuries and accidents, and taking appropriate action in emergency situations.
• Conduct pre- and post-trip inspections, maintain effective communications, and ensure the readiness of equipment and vehicles.
• Manage resources, including inmate/detainee and resident medications and property, and maintain relationships with staff, customers, and inmates.

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• A valid Class A or B driver's license with airbrake and passenger endorsements or CDL Class A or B and willingness to obtain airbrake and passenger endorsements.
