Position Overview:
The Downstream Operator role is an entry-level position within our Extrusion department. In this capacity, you will employ standard tools and measuring devices to identify any basic irregularities in the production process.

Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure the final product is neatly and evenly wrapped around the reel.
- Collaborate with fellow production staff to guarantee that orders are accurately wound onto reels for customer shipment.
- Assist with line start-ups and reel changes, ensuring the correct reel is prepared for operation.
- Operate the reeler in both manual and automatic modes, while managing line scrap effectively.

Quality Assurance:
Your attention to detail will be crucial in performing basic quality checks to confirm that products meet customer specifications. Safety is paramount, and you will work diligently to maintain a secure environment for yourself and your colleagues.

- Competitive starting wage of $20.00 per hour.
- Comprehensive benefits package available from day one, including medical, dental, vision, and prescription coverage.
- 401(k) plan with a 6% match and an additional 3% contribution from Dura-Line, fully vested from day one.

- Flexible schedule allowing for every other weekend as a 3-day weekend, with only 15 working days per month.

Qualifications:
- Reliable and punctual team player with a commitment to safety and maintaining a clean workspace.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and manage pipe coils effectively.
- Willingness to work in varying indoor and outdoor conditions.
