Job Summary:

Council for Relationships Inc is seeking a skilled and experienced Counselor to join our team. As a Counselor, you will provide high-quality therapy services to clients, while maintaining a minimum caseload of 8 clients. You will be responsible for conducting therapy sessions, completing client case files, and respecting client confidentiality.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct therapy sessions in a manner that is ethical, in conformity with established professional standards, and accountable and accessible to peer review.
  • Follow Council clinical policies, procedures, and protocols.
  • Utilize Council's practice management software system to manage client case files and administrative tasks.
  • Maintain the highest standards of professional practice, including completing client case files in a timely manner and respecting client confidentiality.
  • Attend group clinical supervision to discuss client cases and receive feedback.
  • Attend monthly all staff meetings to stay informed about company updates and best practices.
  • Meet monthly clinical productivity requirements to ensure a high level of client satisfaction.
  • Maintain an updated profile on the Council website to showcase your expertise and services.
  • Submit writing for Council internal and external communications/marketing pieces to promote our services and expertise.

Requirements:

  • Masters or doctoral degree in marriage and family therapy/psychology/social work or related mental health field.
  • Licensed or working towards licensure (unlicensed therapists are required to work under supervision, which can be provided in-house at a low rate until licensure is attained).
  • Excellent clinical skills and abilities to provide high-quality therapy services.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with clients and colleagues.
  • At least two years of direct clinical experience with an emphasis on couples and family therapy.
  • Clinical membership in AAMFT with Approved Supervisor designation is desired.

Compensation:

Council for Relationships Inc offers a competitive compensation package, including a variable percentage (50%-65%) of the fees you charge.
