Faison Group Benefits is an independently owned insurance agency with a bold strategy to provide comprehensive benefit solutions to clients on a national scale. We offer a full-service broker model that includes Payroll, 401k programs, and HR Support.
Job Description
We are seeking a licensed, experienced, and motivated benefits broker to help us drive sales growth and build strong client relationships. The ideal candidate will have a proven record of accomplishment and success in the employee benefits industry.
Responsibilities
- Sell and solicit benefit plans that match the needs of clients and prospective customers.
- Analyze insurance needs for clients and make recommendations for appropriate coverage options within their budget.
- Present proposals to clients and address any questions or concerns they may have.
- Coordinate the implementation of new benefit plans, working closely with clients and internal teams.
- Monitor industry trends and regulatory changes to ensure clients remain compliant and competitive.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with insurance carriers and other industry partners.
- Track and report on key performance metrics, such as client retention and revenue growth.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in business, finance, or a related field (preferred)
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in employee benefits brokerage
- Active insurance broker license (required)
- Proven record of achieving sales targets and building long-term client relationships.
- Strong knowledge of employee benefits products and services, including health insurance, retirement plans, and voluntary benefits
- Excellent communication skills that include written, verbal, and presentation
- Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively with team members.
- Proficiency in CRM software and other relevant tools
