Crook County is seeking a skilled GIS Analyst to join our team. As a key member of our information technology department, you will play a vital role in managing and executing geographic information system (GIS) projects. Your primary focus will be on utilizing the ESRI suite of technologies, with a strong emphasis on ArcGIS Pro, to perform spatial analysis and manage geospatial data.

Responsibilities:
- Assist in the acquisition, organization, and maintenance of spatial datasets, ensuring data integrity and accuracy.
- Conduct spatial analyses to support planning, resource management, and decision-making processes.
- Design and produce high-quality maps and visualizations for internal and public consumption.
- Manage GIS databases, including data storage and retrieval.
- Develop custom GIS applications, tools, and scripts to automate workflows and enhance GIS capabilities.
- Provide technical support and training to GIS users across the organization.

Requirements:
- Associate's degree in GIS, Computer Science, or a related field required; bachelor's degree preferred.
- At least 1 year of experience in GIS workflows, application development, and data management techniques, preferably in a local government or public sector environment.
- Proficiency in ESRI ArcGIS Pro and other GIS software platforms.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders.

This position offers a competitive salary of $65,000 - $85,000 per annum, depending on experience. Please note that this figure is an estimate based on the job description and location.
