Dispensing Pharmacist

About This Role: We are seeking a skilled Dispensing Pharmacist to join our team at WholesomeCo Cannabis. In this role, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care, ensuring compliance with state regulations, and contributing to a dynamic team that values innovation and collaboration. As a Dispensing Pharmacist, you will have the opportunity to work with a range of patients, from those seeking relief from chronic pain to individuals looking for alternative treatments for various medical conditions.

Responsibilities: Your responsibilities will include overseeing the verification of pharmacy transactions, consulting with patients and prospective patients, verifying pharmacy transactions, consulting patients and prospective patients, maintaining store operational standards, maintaining a safe and clean environment for patients and employees, maintaining patient confidentiality, assisting patients with their questions, problems, and complaints, handling patient-related issues in accordance with company policy, monitoring and ensuring a high-quality patient experience for every interaction, directing and overseeing patient interactions, providing clinical counseling, coordinating with practitioners to facilitate positive patient outcomes, and performing other job duties as requested.

Requirements: To succeed in this role, you should have 2+ years of retail pharmacy experience as a pharmacist, be certified as a Registered Utah State Pharmacist, possess a deep understanding of the cannabis plant and its benefits, and have experience working in a heavily regulated industry. You must also be able to remain compliant with all applicable laws and company SOPs, communicate effectively via email, phone calls, text, or any other methods frequently used within the company, possess basic computer skills, and have experience interacting and working with the public.
