Job Summary

Key Responsibilities
  • Update control or process documentation for the Controller's team using PowerPoint or Excel.
  • Track timeliness and take first pass at updating financial policies and procedures.
  • Develop drillable dashboards to track overdue or outstanding items, and follow up on overdue items.
  • Work with various stakeholders in bringing items current.
  • Assist in preparing mid-year and annual financial reports according to the Governmental accounting standards and other applicable regulatory requirements.
  • Support collaborating with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze financial and non-financial data for inclusion in external reports.
  • Support the accounting team with annual audit requirements and work with external auditors to meet the annual audit completion deadline.
  • Accurately analyze and collect data for various types of business reports.
Requirements
  • Strong O365 Microsoft Skills, especially Excel; Tableau or Power BI skills preferred.
  • Strong organizational and project management skills.
  • Ability to handle multiple projects.
  • Demonstrated ability to work in teams and interact effectively with diverse stakeholders.
  • Strong presentation, verbal, and written communication skills.
Education and Experience

3-5 years of full-time experience in auditing/accounting with a bachelor's degree in accounting preferred.
