Pilgrim's is seeking an experienced Industrial Refrigeration Technician to join our team. This role will be responsible for maintaining and repairing refrigeration equipment on a 4-day workweek schedule.

About the Role

This is a full-time position working 7 P.M to 7 A.M., Sunday through Wednesday, with alternating weekends off. The successful candidate must have at least 1 year of experience in industrial refrigeration maintenance or HVAC freon systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Monitor and maintain refrigeration equipment to ensure optimal performance and efficiency
  • Prepare work orders for any defects found and maintain process safety management records
  • Participate in HAZMAT and CONFINED SPACE Training as required
  • Maintain accurate records according to standard operating procedures
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate degree in a related field preferred
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in industrial refrigeration maintenance or HVAC freon systems
  • Ability to pass physical and contingent background checks
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment
  • Ability to read and understand blueprints and schematics
  • Ability to lift and move heavy equipment and materials (up to 50 lbs)
Compensation and Benefits

The estimated salary for this position is $65,000 - $80,000 per year, depending on experience. Pilgrim's offers a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision insurance, 401(k) matching, and paid time off.
