Maintenance Technician Job Description

Ornua Ingredients North America is seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team. As a key member of our maintenance department, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our production facilities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks to prevent equipment downtime and ensure optimal production levels.
  • Diagnose and repair complex mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic systems.
  • Conduct regular inspections to identify potential issues and implement preventative measures.
  • Collaborate with other maintenance team members to achieve departmental goals and objectives.
  • Develop and maintain a strong understanding of our production processes and equipment.
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's degree or certification preferred.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in industrial maintenance or a related field.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to lift up to 75 pounds and work at heights.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience with GMPs and OSHA regulations.
  • Knowledge of electrical and HVAC systems.
  • Basic computer skills and ability to learn new software.
