We are seeking a highly skilled Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our Endocrinology team at UW Health Clinics. As an Advanced Practice Provider, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality, cost-effective care to patients with diabetes, thyroid disorders, osteoporosis, and other endocrine conditions.
Key Responsibilities- Provide comprehensive care to patients with endocrine disorders, including diabetes, thyroid conditions, and osteoporosis.
- Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary health team to provide comprehensive care to both well and ill patients in an outpatient and inpatient setting.
- Participate in the daily functions of the Diabetes Management Service.
- Conduct comprehensive or episodic health history and physical assessment of patients/families with acute, chronic, and/or potential health problems.
- Master's or Doctorate's degree from an accredited Nursing Program (for Nurse Practitioners) or Bachelor's or Master's degree from an accredited PA Program (for Physician Assistants).
- State of Wisconsin NP or PA licensure.
- Active RN and APRN certifications and licenses, including prescriptive authority, in state(s) of practice (for Nurse Practitioners).
- Active PA board certification (for Physician Assistants).
- Active DEA license or ability to apply for such license prior to or upon hire.
