We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Kitchen Porter to join our team at the Brookmere Hotel and Regent Restaurant & Bar in Saratoga Springs, New York.

The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining a clean and organized kitchen environment, adhering to high standards of hygiene and safety.

A competitive salary of approximately $45,000 per year is on offer, commensurate with experience and qualifications.

Responsibilities:
  • Sort, wash, and put away all dishes, pots, pans, trays, silverware, and utensils.
  • Stocks, stores, and keeps assigned areas organized according to established procedures.
  • Maintains dish room, walk-in refrigerator/freezer, glassware, flatware, and porcelain storage areas neat, clean, and organized.
  • Assists with food preparation as directed when other duties do not require attention.
  • Fulfills all health and safety practices and procedures as outlined by the company.
  • Empties garbage cans, sweeps, and mops, and performs other closing duties.
Requirements:
  • 17+ years old.
  • Prior culinary experience preferred but not required.
  • Must consistently demonstrate a positive, upbeat attitude and a customer-focused mindset.
  • Ability to work days, nights, weekends, holidays, and other high-volume days and times is essential.
