The Universal Banker I role is responsible for assisting customers with financial transactions, providing product and service information, and promoting banking solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Provide exceptional customer service through quality conversations and efficient transaction processing.
  2. Build relationships with customers by identifying needs and offering solutions.
  3. Offer accurate information to customers based on product and service knowledge.
  4. Communicate effectively with customers and employees in person or by phone.
  5. Sell, open, and maintain banking products and services to new and existing customers.
  6. Process customer account openings, maintenance, and closures.
  7. Handle financial transactions efficiently and effectively.
  8. Maintain a balanced cash drawer.
  9. Meet or exceed established branch goals and contribute to deposit growth.

Requirements:

Education

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.

Experience

  • Accounting or banking experience encouraged.

Skills and Abilities

  • Strong math skills and ability to apply common sense.
  • Exceptional oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask.
  • Understanding of regulatory and compliance policies and procedures.
  • Ability to work flexible hours and shifts.
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation required.
