About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Food Preparation Team Member to join our team at Sam's Club. As a key member of our prepared foods team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the highest quality products are prepared and presented to our members.

Key Responsibilities
  • Food Preparation: Prepare food according to item specifications, adhering to food safety standards, sanitation guidelines, and cold chain compliance.
  • Inventory Management: Maintain accurate inventory levels, ensuring that shelves are clean, and products are properly stored and rotated.
  • Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service, responding to member inquiries, and resolving any issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Team Collaboration: Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to achieve business objectives, share knowledge, and best practices.
  • Adaptability: Demonstrate flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced environment, responding to changing priorities and deadlines.
Requirements
  • Food Service Experience: Previous experience in food preparation, food service, or a related field is required.
  • Food Safety Certification: Possess a valid food safety certification, such as Food Handler Certification.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse teams and members.
  • Physical Demands: Ability to stand for long periods, lift up to 50 pounds, and work in a fast-paced environment.
