Support Specialist for Active

Job Summary:
Pathlight Group is seeking a Support Specialist for Active to provide direct support to an individual with autism in a community-based setting. The ideal candidate will have experience working with individuals with challenging behaviors and a strong commitment to promoting their interests, energy, dignity, safety, health, welfare, rights, development, and social inclusion.
Responsibilities:
Provide direct support to an individual with autism in a community-based setting
Develop a close working relationship with the individual and their primary caregiver
Support the individual in building skills and safety in their home and community
Provide transportation to the individual when needed
Maintain accurate records of the individual's progress and needs
Requirements:
2-3 years of related individual support experience
Valid Massachusetts driver's license
Reliable transportation
High school diploma or GED
Two supervisory references
Driving record and CORI and Fingerprint check
