Rebar Fabricator

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Rebar Fabricator to join our Production Department at Nucor Steel Auburn. As a Rebar Fabricator, you will play a critical role in driving positive results and building a World-Class Rebar Fabrication facility to meet our customers' needs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate fabrication and material handling equipment safely and effectively
• Cut, bend, thread, and maneuver concrete reinforcing bar using overhead crane and forklift
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment
• Execute projects to completion and aid Production Leads and Supervisor as needed

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Willingness to work unplanned overtime, weekends, and holidays
• Ability to work in extreme conditions, including hot, cold, and rainy weather, dusty conditions, and a fast-paced environment
• Fundamental computer skills

Preferred Qualifications:

• Prior fabrication experience
• Mobile equipment operation (forklift/overhead crane) or equivalent experience
• Self-starting, positive problem-solver with initiative and enthusiasm
