As a vital member of our healthcare team, the Inpatient Hospice Registered Nurse is dedicated to delivering compassionate and comprehensive nursing care to patients in a supportive environment. This role involves assessing the needs of patients and their families, developing tailored care plans, and ensuring the highest standards of service delivery in alignment with our organizational values.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Provide holistic nursing care to patients in the inpatient hospice setting.
2. Conduct thorough assessments to identify patient and family needs.
3. Formulate, implement, and evaluate individualized care plans.
4. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to enhance patient outcomes.
5. Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient care activities.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Required: Associate's Degree in Nursing
- Preferred: Bachelor's Degree in Nursing
- Minimum of two years of recent medical/surgical nursing experience; hospice or home health experience is a plus.
- Must possess strong assessment skills and a commitment to patient-centered care.
- Required certifications: RN - Registered Nurse, CPR - AHA Healthcare Provider, CHPN - Certified Hospice Palliative Nurse (to be obtained within four years of hire).
