Job SummaryWe are looking for a skilled and safety-conscious driver to operate automated side load trucks, ensuring efficient and prompt waste removal services to customers on designated routes. The ideal candidate will possess excellent customer service skills, be able to navigate challenging road conditions, and demonstrate a strong commitment to safety and teamwork.
Key Responsibilities:- Safely operate automated side load trucks, adhering to company safety standards and regulations.
- Perform pre/post trip inspections of assigned vehicles, maintaining appearance in accordance with company standards.
- Provide exceptional customer service, interacting with customers in a courteous and professional manner.
- Complete all assigned paperwork accurately, meeting company and federally mandated requirements.
- Empties receptacles, cleans areas around accidental waste spills, and completes assigned route sheets.
The successful candidate will hold a valid Class A or B CDL License, have a High School Diploma or GED, and be at least 18 years old. Excellent verbal and written communication skills, effective listening, and problem-solving abilities are essential. Physical stamina to handle objects over 50lbs frequently throughout the day is required.
