Nurse Care Specialist

Tact Staff is seeking a skilled Nurse Care Specialist for a travel nursing job in North Providence, Rhode Island.
Job OverviewThis role requires a highly motivated and experienced Registered Nurse to work in the Emergency Department of a community hospital. The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of experience in emergency nursing and be certified in ACLS, BLS, and PALS.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide high-quality patient care in the emergency department, including triage, assessment, and treatment.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized patient plans.
- Conduct thorough assessments of patients' medical conditions and identify potential emergencies.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
- Document patient information accurately and thoroughly in the electronic medical record system.
The emergency department is a fast-paced environment where you will work alongside a multidisciplinary team to provide timely and effective care to patients. You will have access to state-of-the-art equipment and technology, including Omnicell medication systems and Medi Tech documentation systems.
Requirements- Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN) or equivalent required.
- At least 2 years of experience in emergency nursing, preferably in a community hospital setting.
- Current certifications in ACLS, BLS, and PALS.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
The pay package for this role includes a tax-free stipend amount to be determined, based on 12-hour shifts and 36 hours per week. The estimated annual salary for this position is around $120,000, depending on the location and experience level.
