Job Summary
Physician Empire is seeking a highly skilled General Surgeon to join our team at a Critical Access Hospital in Eastern Oregon. As a General Surgeon, you will be responsible for providing surgical services, including surgery clinic, operating room, and on-call services.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform surgical procedures, including general surgery, endoscopy, colonoscopy, and emergency/trauma cases
- Provide on-call services, including general surgery and trauma call, as well as rounding on surgery patients
- Serve as the Trauma Medical Director, overseeing the Trauma program and providing educational guidance to the surgery team
- Collaborate with the Clinic Director and Operating Room Lead to implement best practices and improve patient care
Requirements
- Board certification or board eligibility with experience
- Ability to work collaboratively with a team to provide high-quality patient care
- Strong communication and leadership skills
