Unity Health is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeper to join our team. As a Housekeeper, you will play a vital role in maintaining a clean and safe environment for our patients, associates, and guests.
Key Responsibilities- Perform indirect patient care by cleaning and disinfecting patient areas, maintaining a hygienically clean environment, and adhering to infection control and safety guidelines.
- Handle waste and biohazardous materials according to proper policies and procedures.
- Request cleaning supplies and equipment as needed and maintain equipment in good working order.
- Assist in maintaining a clean and organized environment, including floors, surfaces, and equipment.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Ability to read and write effectively.
- Previous experience in housekeeping or a related field is desirable but not required.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods.
This is a full-time position working days and every other weekend. The successful candidate will be required to work in a fast-paced environment and maintain a high level of attention to detail.
