Key Responsibilities
  • Manage a large case-load of complex litigation matters related to insurance defense and trucking litigation.
  • Conduct comprehensive legal research and analysis to support case preparation and strategy development.
  • Draft, review, and negotiate legal documents, ensuring they comply with current laws and regulations.
  • Conduct depositions, examinations, and cross-examinations of witnesses and present evidence in court to support the client's case.
  • Collaborate with a team of legal professionals to devise the best defense strategies and deliver high-quality legal services.
  • Advise clients on their legal rights, obligations, and potential liabilities, and provide them with regular case updates.
  • Represent the client in pre-trial proceedings, court trials, mediations, and settlement negotiations.
  • Stay updated on the latest industry trends, court decisions, and legislative developments that may affect the client's case.
Requirements
  • Juris Doctor Degree from an accredited law school, Active License to Practice Law in Pennsylvania
  • A minimum of 2+ years of experience in litigation, particularly in insurance defense litigation and trucking litigation.
  • Proven experience in conducting depositions and representing clients in court.
  • Exceptional legal research and analytical skills, enabling the development of effective defense strategies.
  • Excellent negotiation and communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex legal concepts in a clear and understandable manner.
  • Strong organizational skills, with the ability to handle a large case-load and meet tight deadlines.
  • Admission to the State Bar and in good standing.
  • A strong commitment to ethical legal practice and maintaining client confidentiality.
