Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Early Childhood Education Specialist to join our team at the Kern Community College District. As a Child Development Center Teacher, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality education and care to preschool children and infants.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Plan and coordinate activities and instruction for preschool children and infants
  • Develop and maintain a developmentally appropriate, safe environment in both indoor and outdoor settings
  • Supervise and directly interact with children in a warm and positive manner
  • Prepare age and developmentally appropriate lesson plans and outlines
  • Conduct demonstrations and learning activities for children
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college in early childhood education or a related field
  • One year of experience working with children in an organized setting
  • Possession of, or eligibility to obtain and maintain, a Child Development Teacher Permit issued by the California Commission on Teacher Credentialing
Salary Range:

$2,917.34 - $4,122.12 monthly
