Job Summary:
United Medical Systems is seeking an experienced Radiologic Technologist to join our team as a Lithotripsy Specialist. As a key member of our mobile medical services team, you will work closely with our urologists, OR staff, and anesthesia staff to provide high-quality radiology and lithotripsy services to patients.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in the setup and operation of lithotripsy equipment in the operating or procedure room.
- Train on the job to become proficient in anatomy and locating kidney stones on x-rays and fluoroscopy.
- Accommodate a flexible schedule and travel as needed, with occasional overnight stays.
- Complete daily documentation for equipment and patient records.
- Assist urologists and facility staff as needed.
- Responsible for setting up equipment, performing daily quality checks, and preparing equipment for transport.
Requirements:
- Current ARRT certification.
- State licensure, as applicable.
- Current Healthcare provider Basic Life Support (BLS) or must be completed within thirty (30) days of employment.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
