CDL Delivery Driver

Hammond Lumber Company is seeking a reliable and skilled CDL Delivery Driver to join our team in Machias, Maine. As a CDL Delivery Driver, you will be responsible for operating forklifts and other material handling equipment to pick, load, unload, and store materials in the yard. You will also perform customer deliveries utilizing Class B or Class A equipment, providing exceptional customer service and ensuring timely and safe delivery of goods.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate forklifts and other material handling equipment to efficiently manage inventory and materials
• Perform customer deliveries using Class B or Class A equipment, adhering to safety protocols and regulations
• Provide exceptional customer service, responding to customer inquiries and resolving any issues that may arise
• Collaborate with the team to ensure seamless delivery operations and maintain a safe working environment

Requirements:

• Valid Class A or B CDL license
• Forklift experience a plus, but not required
• Experience handling building materials a plus
• Spider truck or boom truck experience a plus, but not required
• Ability to lift heavy objects and work in a fast-paced environment
