Speech Therapist Job Description

VNA Health Group is seeking a skilled Speech Therapist to join our team in South Hackensack, New Jersey.

Job Responsibilities:
  • Provide speech and language therapy evaluation and treatment to patients in their homes or alternate community settings.
  • Assess and evaluate client for speech and language therapy needs and develop and implement appropriate plan of action in collaboration with the physician.
  • Document all changes in client's condition and update care plans and outcomes accordingly.
  • Identify counseling needs and plan appropriate teaching strategies.
  • Monitor quality and appropriateness of services provided.
  • Adhere to agency infection control and safety policies.
  • Adhere to the organization's policy in regards to absenteeism and appearance.
Requirements:
  • Licensed Speech-Language pathologist with CCC-SLP certification and Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
  • 2-3 years of prior clinical experience and community-based experience preferred.
  • Strong computer skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Valid NJ drivers license.
