Job Details

We are looking for a talented Desktop Virtualization Architect to join our team. As a Desktop Virtualization Architect, you will be responsible for designing and implementing virtualized desktop environments for our clients.

Main Responsibilities:

• Work closely with internal virtualization operations and engineering teams to gather requirements and build as well as deploy appropriate tools;
• Provide technical leadership in the development, integration, and testing of the Virtual Desktop Infrastructure (VDI), supporting multiple geographic locations, network enclaves, and virtual desktop pools;
• Offer input on the overall technology plan for the organization, ensuring specific technologies integrate effectively with other aspects of the network security technical infrastructure;
• Design, upgrade, test, and modify the VDI environment based on capacity and utilization requirements;
• Troubleshoot and correct detected or reported system and network faults or outages;
• Maintain deep technical and business knowledge of current industry directions and trends;

Requirements:

• Minimum seven years of recent experience in virtualization design and engineering while managing and supporting large-scale projects and automation;
• Must have experience with cloud-hosted VDI;
• Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university is preferred;
• Experienced in engineering, operations, and architecture of VD (NetScaler) technologies as well as able to recommend ways to enhance productivity and visibility through standard third-party solutions;

Salary Range: $120,000 - $180,000 per year, depending on location and experience.
