Family Practice Nurse Practitioner

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Family Practice/Primary Care Nurse Practitioner to join our team at Continuum Medical Staffing. As a key member of our Patient Centered Healthcare Team, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care to our patients.
Responsibilities:- Conduct thorough assessments of patients, including their medical history, allergies, and current living arrangements.
- Review abnormal lab values and plan appropriate treatment in the absence of the primary physician.
- Identify the need for client and family teaching, and develop a plan to address their assessed and stated needs.
- Participate in a multi-disciplinary approach to patient care, consulting with other healthcare providers as needed.
- Provide care following approved protocols in a safe manner, evaluating patient response to treatment.
- Document all teaching material given to patients, including their response, comprehension, and need for further follow-up.
- Demonstrate clinical competence and professional commitment in nursing practice, adhering to established standards and utilizing scientific principles.
- Participate in the orientation and teaching process to ensure new employees or students become familiar with policies, procedures, and expectations.
- Act as a resource person to the healthcare team, providing informational sessions as requested.
- Develop and maintain systems for patient and staff educational materials.
