About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Behavioral Health Specialist to join our team at Bright Behaviour Therapy Novi. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in behavioral health, particularly in working with individuals with autism and other developmental disorders.

The primary responsibility of this role is to conduct comprehensive patient assessments, develop individualized treatment plans, and provide ongoing support to clients and their families. This involves conducting patient evaluations, creating personalized intervention strategies, and collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to ensure holistic patient care.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive patient assessments to evaluate behavioral needs and develop tailored intervention strategies.
  • Maintain accurate medical records and documentation in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure effective communication regarding treatment plans.
  • Collect and analyze data to monitor progress and adjust interventions as necessary.
  • Provide training and support to staff, caregivers, and family members on behavior management techniques.

Requirements:

  • A Master's degree in Applied Behavior Analysis or a related field is required.
  • Current Board Certification as a Behavior Analyst (BCBA).
  • Experience working with individuals with autism or other developmental disorders is preferred.
  • Proficiency in medical terminology, patient care, and medical documentation practices.
  • Strong skills in data collection and analysis to inform treatment decisions.
