Job Summary:

The General Foreman is a critical role at Penn Line Tree Service, Inc. responsible for leading field operations, promoting a safety culture, and ensuring customer satisfaction. This position requires strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills to manage a team of employees, prioritize tasks, and meet performance goals.

Key Responsibilities:

• Promote a safety culture by conducting regular safety inspections, providing training, and enforcing safety protocols.
• Lead a team of employees to achieve performance goals, including quality, efficiency, and customer satisfaction.
• Develop and implement plans to improve safety, quality, and efficiency, and track progress against goals.
• Collaborate with other departments, including Human Resources, Accounting, and Equipment, to ensure seamless operations.
• Manage customer relationships, respond to customer needs, and resolve issues in a timely and professional manner.
• Develop and implement plans to improve environmental stewardship, including compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Analyze financial data to identify opportunities for cost savings and improve financial performance.

Requirements:

• 5+ years of experience in a leadership role, preferably in the tree industry.
• Strong knowledge of safety protocols, quality control, and environmental regulations.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze data and make informed decisions.
