Job Summary:

The Medical Assistant/LPN is a vital member of our primary care team, providing exceptional patient care and administrative support. This role requires a unique blend of clinical and administrative skills, with a focus on delivering high-quality patient care and promoting a positive patient experience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist with patient care management, including vital signs, medical histories, and treatment plans.
  • Perform administrative tasks, such as scheduling appointments, processing medical records, and communicating with patients and healthcare providers.
  • Work under the direction of physicians and mid-level practitioners to provide clinical support and assist with procedures.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, including medical histories, treatment plans, and test results.
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure seamless patient care and effective communication.

Requirements:

  • Graduate of an accredited medical assisting program or formal medical services training program.
  • One year of experience as a medical assistant or LPN, with a focus on primary care.
  • Current certification or registration as a medical assistant or LPN, with a valid license to practice in the state of Florida.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
