Position: Registered Nurse - Medical / Surgical
  • Contract Length: 13 weeks
  • Compensation: Up to $73/hr
Position Overview:
  • Med/Surg specialty required
  • 60-Mile Radius Rule applies
  • 12-hour Night Shifts - weekend, holiday, and on-call duties expected
  • Shift Timing: 7pm to 7am
  • Assignment Duration: 13 weeks, with potential for extension
  • Registered Nurse must be adept at floating between Med/Surg and PCU
  • Night shift assignment, with possible longer duration
  • Candidate must possess a CURRENT NY nursing license.
  • Experience in Coronary Care is essential.
  • Must have completed at least one successful travel assignment.
  • First-time travelers will not be eligible.
  • Graduate from an accredited Nursing School is required.
  • Previous hospital RN experience is preferred.
  • BLS certification is mandatory or must be obtained within three months of hire.
  • Comprehensive understanding of nursing principles is necessary. Ability to deliver quality patient care and assess patient needs, including clinical, educational, mental, and spiritual aspects.
  • Must identify safety concerns for self and others and effectively implement safe patient handling techniques.
  • Ability to perform well under pressure and possess strong problem-solving skills.
  • Demonstrated leadership capabilities with skills in prioritization and delegation.
  • May be required to take on responsibilities as a charge nurse.
  • Exceptional interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills, both written and verbal, are essential.
  • No specific schedule is available.
