Job Summary

The Maintenance Supervisor will be responsible for overseeing the daily maintenance operations of our community, ensuring that all facilities and equipment are in good working condition. This includes supervising a team of maintenance personnel, monitoring and evaluating outside contractors, and developing and implementing preventative maintenance programs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee and provide daily maintenance for the entire community, ensuring that all facilities and equipment are in good working condition.
  • Monitor and evaluate outside contractors to ensure that they are meeting our quality and safety standards.
  • Develop and implement building and equipment preventative maintenance programs to minimize downtime and extend the life of our assets.
  • Supervise a team of maintenance personnel, providing guidance and support to ensure that they are meeting their responsibilities.
  • Interview and recommend the hiring of new maintenance associates as needed.
  • Must have general knowledge of all phases of building maintenance, to include electrical, carpentry, plumbing, painting, appliance repair, heating and cooling, and life safety systems.
  • Must possess a valid driver's license.
  • Must possess a high school diploma or equivalent and at least 2 years supervisory experience.
  • Licensed HVAC Technician preferred, but not required.
