As a Sous Chef at bartaco, you'll have the opportunity to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment where no two days are ever the same. You'll be responsible for providing leadership and direction to the culinary team, ensuring that all recipes, food preparations, and presentations meet our high standards for quality.
- Work closely with the executive chef to ensure that we are serving food that meets bartaco's standards for quality
- Create memorable dining experiences that exceed guest expectations
- Drive continuous improvement
- Coach, lead, and develop your team
- Perform calmly and effectively in a high-volume environment
- Ensure that the team properly follows all bartaco standards
- Manage shifts which include daily decision making and effective planning
- Perform daily compliance checks including line, safety/sanitation
- Assist with inventory, ordering, and purchasing
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace
- Assist with the hiring and training processes of all kitchen teams
- Other duties as assigned

The estimated salary range for this position is $65,000-$75,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.
