Overview

The Emory Orthopedic PA and Acute Care NP Post Graduate Fellowship Program is a comprehensive training program designed to equip Advanced Practice Providers with the skills and knowledge necessary to excel in the field of orthopedics.

Position Summary

The Fellowship Program is a one-year program that focuses on the multidisciplinary management of complex patients in orthopedics. Fellows will have the opportunity to cultivate specialized knowledge and skills in areas such as joints, upper extremity, lower extremity, orthopedic oncology, and spine.

Key Responsibilities
  • Participate in rotations to gain hands-on experience in orthopedic care
  • Develop and implement treatment plans for complex patients
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to provide comprehensive care
  • Participate in educational activities to enhance knowledge and skills
Requirements
  • Completion of an accredited PA or Acute Care NP Master's program
  • National board certification as a PA or Acute Care NP
  • Eligibility for licensure as a PA or NP in Georgia
  • Eligibility for DEA license
  • American Heart Association BLS and Healthcare Provider certifications
Application Process

To be considered for the Fellowship Program, applicants must complete the following steps:

  • Complete a candidate profile and submit a resume to job requisition #134915
  • Upload all required application materials, including a statement of intent, resume or curriculum vitae, and two letters of recommendation

Applications will be reviewed on a rolling basis, and all application materials must be submitted by October 31, 2024, to be considered.
