We are actively looking for dedicated Residential Support Specialists to become part of our team at The Arch. In this role, you will engage directly with residents to promote their safety and overall well-being. Prior experience in this field is not required, as comprehensive training will be provided.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Uphold the Mission and Vision of Carroll Institute.
  • Maintain confidentiality in accordance with the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act of 1996 (HIPAA).
  • Familiarize yourself with policies, procedures, fire safety regulations, and health and safety standards.
  • Supervise residents' self-administration of prescribed medications and ensure accurate documentation.
  • Handle assigned clerical tasks, including typing and filing.
  • Ensure The Arch remains clean and organized by supervising residents in their assigned responsibilities.
  • Conduct regular rounds to account for residents and ensure their safety.
  • Communicate effectively with local referral sources and community organizations.
  • Participate in staff meetings and contribute to team discussions.
  • Collaborate closely with staff to foster a welcoming environment.
  • Assist in building and maintaining positive relationships with civic, professional, and governmental entities.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • At least 1 year of sobriety if in recovery.
Preferred Skills/Competencies:
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and Word.
  • Knowledge of de-escalation techniques.
  • Ability to lift a minimum of 25 lbs.
  • Capability to climb stairs and remain on your feet for extended periods.
The hourly wage starts at $18.00 and can go up to $23.49 per hour based on experience.
