Gynecologist Opportunity in Columbus, GA

We are seeking a qualified Gynecologist to join our team at a multi-specialty healthcare facility located in Columbus, Georgia.
Compensation and BenefitsThe salary for this position is estimated to be $224,000 per year, commensurate with experience. Additionally, the position offers a range of benefits, including health, dental, and vision insurance (100% covered by the employer), life insurance, long-term disability, ten accrued days of vacation time, ten accrued days of sick time, ten paid holidays, one personal day, continuing medical education, and student loan repayment through NHSC.
About the PositionAs a Gynecologist, you will be responsible for reviewing patient medical histories, updating charts and patient information, collecting and recording patient data, and prescribing or administering therapy and medication as needed. You will also analyze records, reports, and test results to diagnose medical conditions, explain procedures and discuss test results with patients, and monitor patients' conditions and progress. In addition, you will advise patients on diet, activity, hygiene, and disease prevention, refer patients to specialists when necessary, direct and coordinate medical staff activities, and consult with other physicians.
Responsibilities- Review patient medical histories and update charts and patient information as necessary.
- Collect, record, and maintain patient data, including medical histories, reports, and examination results.
- Analyze records, reports, and test results to diagnose medical conditions.
- Prescribe or administer therapy, medication, and other specialized medical care as needed.
- Explain procedures and discuss test results with patients.
- Monitor patients' conditions and progress and reevaluate treatments as necessary.
- Advise patients on diet, activity, hygiene, and disease prevention.
- Refer patients to specialists when necessary.
- Direct and coordinate activities of medical staff.
- Consult with other physicians as needed.
